Processing of personal data
On 24 May 2016, a new regulation to protect citizens' privacy came into force in the European Union. It is known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). As a result of this regulation, the same rules now apply across the EU.
